What Is the Cost of Breast Augmentation in Arizona?
Posted February 29, 2020 in Breast Augmentation, Breast Implants, Breast Surgery2 Minute Read:
Cosmetic surgery is a big commitment, both physically and financially. Breast augmentation is not usually covered by medical insurance, so most patients have to make strategic financing decisions before choosing to get their procedure.
Understanding your cost can help you to make sure you are ready for a breast augmentation.
What Is the Base Cost of Your Breast Augmentation?
You will be given an estimated price quote during your consultation with Dr. Spies. This estimate will include the following factors:
What Are the Extra Fees?
The cost of your breast augmentation will include several fees. These fees include the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fees, facility fees, and preparation fees. Preparation fees can consist of medical tests or any other evaluations that are needed before undergoing surgery.
Do Implant Cost Different Amounts?
The brand, shape, size, and type of implant can all impact your breast augmentation cost.
The material used for the implants does have a variance in price. Saline implants are less expensive than silicone implants, and silicone implants with more customization, such as the textured anatomic-shaped implants, are even higher.
What If I Choose to Combine My Breast Augmentation With Another Procedure?
Some patients choose to combine their breast augmentation with another body contouring procedure, such as a breast lift. This combination is performed to ensure that breasts are lifted and perky. Adding this procedure will impact the overall cost of your augmentation.
Are There Postoperative Costs?
Following the operation, most patients will need a post-surgical bra or compression garment. Patients may also receive a prescription following the procedure to aid in pain relief or healing.
Are There Additional Costs?
While these are not directly related to your surgical procedure, there can be additional fees that are influenced by your decision to undergo breast enhancement; however, this is a rare event.
What About Travel Costs?
Dr. Spies sees many patients who are not from Arizona.
If you are traveling to see your surgeon, this is a charge that will not be included in your breast augmentation estimate, but one that is important to consider.
Travel fares and hotel stays can add to the cost of your breast augmentation.
Will There Be Wardrobe Costs?
While this can often be overlooked, a new wardrobe may be required to accommodate a new bust. For women with naturally small breasts (and who choose larger implants), this can be especially significant.
For women with naturally small breasts, bras will become more important than ever before, and this is a wardrobe area where you do not want to skimp.
